That philosophy has guided the company from its earliest days and continues to shape its reputation in the RV industry today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, nuCamp celebrates its 20th anniversary. To honor this milestone, the company is reflecting on the reputation it has built over two decades of innovation, craftsmanship, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have to push for quality all the time,\u201d said founder Joe Mullet. \u201cThat is the mission. The vision. He made at least three trips out west in those early years, each time to ensure a customer was taken care of. \u201cEven though it wasn\u2019t necessarily something we had to do, it was something that was important to Dad,\u201d Jesse recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now leading the company himself, Jesse continues to follow in those footsteps. At a recent TAB and Friends gathering at Salt Fork State Park in Ohio, he heard about a camper with a sink leak. Within an hour, he had tracked down the necessary parts and fixed the faucet on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the type of stuff that has made nuCamp,\u201d Joe reflected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That hands-on, personal approach has become part of nuCamp\u2019s DNA. Joe still remembers fixing a stubborn plumbing issue at a rally in Arizona when no one else could. \u201cTo me, it was fun. I didn\u2019t do it for publicity. You can call us, you can email us, and there\u2019s going to be someone \u2014 a real person \u2014 that answers the phone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dealers have noticed, too. PJ Buerger, owner of Princess Craft RV in Texas, praised nuCamp\u2019s commitment to both customers and dealer partners. \u201cThey really care about their customers. By caring about them, I don\u2019t mean just take care of their warranties \u2014 they really connect with them. They like to be part of the community. Secondly, when we look at quality, it\u2019s about the components that we use. Production Manager Kyle Beachy explained how processes have evolved: instead of assembling cabinetry and components on the line, the support department now preps everything in advance \u2014 from unboxing microwaves to pre-connecting plumbing and wiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing processes like lamination in-house has also given nuCamp greater control. \u201cIf the control is in your hands, you\u2019re not at the mercy of a vendor,\u201d Kyle said. \u201cYou can control what is good enough or what isn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Partnerships Built on Trust<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>nuCamp\u2019s dealer network of more than 70 locations across the U.S. and Canada has played a key role in expanding its reach. Dealers praise not only the campers themselves but also the consistency of craftsmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve watched them grow, and we\u2019ve grown with them,\u201d said Mike Hartley of Hartley\u2019s Auto and RV Center in New York, who began carrying nuCamp products in 2011. \u201c\u2026 The warranty has been some of the best in the industry, which we don\u2019t have a lot of because they build the campers 100%. When we get them on the lot, they are ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PJ from Princess Craft added, \u201cnuCamp\u2019s reputation in the industry is extraordinary. They have a product that really no one expected to become quite so iconic. Their reputation, their product, really defines what a small trailer, a teardrop, could be.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cody Kneupper, general manager at the Katy location, echoed PJ\u2019s sentiments. He added that nuCamp goes a step beyond producing a high-quality RV by also listening to customer feedback and implementing it into future designs and model year changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cnuCamp listens to the customer and tries to develop new ideas, new floor plans that relate to what the customer wishes to have,\u201d he said. \u201cI think what sets nuCamp apart from other manufacturers. They are not just a mass-produced item.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other dealers echoed those sentiments, pointing to nuCamp\u2019s ability to listen, innovate, and stand firmly behind their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey really work on quality and customer satisfaction, but they\u2019re also not afraid to give me a call if there\u2019s ever an issue and solve it as soon as possible to get our customers back on the road and happy campers,\u201d said Matt Veurink, owner of Veurink\u2019s RV Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Building a Reputation: the nuCamp Story\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zmtj7PFxjyg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Owners Who Notice the Difference<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For owners, the difference is clear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe quality is phenomenal\u2026just the way they\u2019re built, the way they\u2019re put together, and the way they last,\u201d said Tanner, who owns both a Cirrus 620 and a Cirrus 920.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blythe Jones chose a TAB 320 CS for its quality craftsmanship, citing dovetailed drawers and cabinetry. \u201cWe only want to buy it once, so it has to be able to take a licking and keep on ticking. Everything we saw about the build quality on this said that would happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Owner Dawn Harris shared a similar perspective after owning several different brands. She went from a TAB 320 to a larger travel trailer by another brand before returning to nuCamp in a TAB 400. Now, Dawn has found her perfect home on wheels in the 400, which is just large enough for her needs with the counter space and storage she desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cnuCamp products have better cabinetry, they\u2019re built better, they\u2019re easy to tow\u2026 I think that the employees at nuCamp really take pride in their work, and they really do their best to make a very high-quality camper.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jenn Grover, the TAB 360 ambassador, summed up her experience in one word: \u201cThe word I used this week was exceptional. It\u2019s not like what you would see from a lot of other manufacturers who are just cranking them out at a high volume.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She used the TAB 360 as a perfect example of nuCamp\u2019s commitment to quality and providing a good customer experience. It just struck me as a much better built, happier camper than most of the other ones I saw out there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And as TAB 360 owner Mamie Konarski put it: \u201cI know that they\u2019re a little pricier than what most people would want to spend, but the quality is there. The back-up service is there; the community is there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>More Than a Product<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At its core, nuCamp\u2019s story is about more than producing campers. It\u2019s about building relationships, fostering community, and creating a legacy of trust.
