According to <a href=\"http:\/\/ezinearticles.com\/?Makeover-and-Remodel-Your-Motorhome-or-RV&amp;id=313008\">Makeover and Remodel Your Motorhome or RV<\/a>, customizing your camper lets you get the features and design attributes you want without buying a new model. And if you do it properly, you might even increase the resale value!<\/p>\n<p>Not sure where to start or what to do? Here are a few suggestions to consider.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>For more storage space<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>In the kitchen, install a few <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campingworld.com\/add-a-drawer-low-profile\">under-cabinet drawers<\/a> for additional storage and <a href=\"https:\/\/threebythree.com\/products\/magnetic-strip-bulletin-board\">wall-mounted magnetic strips<\/a> to securely hold knives, metal serving platters and spices in small tins. (Use the provided magnets to display notes, pictures and recipe cards.) Another alternative is a pegboard\u2014ideal for pots, pans and utensils.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/?keywords=shower%20curtain%20with%20pockets\">shower curtain with pockets<\/a> does double-duty in the bathroom, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campingworld.com\/over-the-cabinet-door-hair-dryer-hook\">over-the-door hooks<\/a> can hold everything from an extra towel to your hair dryer. More towels than shelf space? Use a wall-mounted wine rack, suggested Ashley Mann in her <a href=\"https:\/\/rvinspiration.com\/organize\/rv-bathroom-storage-organization-ideas\/\">post<\/a><\/p>\n<h1><strong>For a portable garden<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>There\u2019s nothing like fresh herbs to perk up a menu, but who wants to run to the store when you have a 6 AM yen for a chive-and-basil omelet? With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ikea.com\/ms\/en_US\/usearch\/?query=FINTORP%20series\">Ikea\u2019s Fintorp line<\/a> of rails, hooks and holders, you can have small pots of your favorite herbal ingredients right in your cooking space! Or mount hanging baskets over the RV sink\u2014ready to snip and easy to water!<\/p>\n<p>Selecting potted plants for inside your camper? Choose ones that prefer low-light conditions: Chinese evergreens, spider plants, philodendrons or Boston Ferns, for example. Prefer flowering plants for a spot of color? Anthuriums and peace lilies are ideal. But skip the nails and screws\u2014camper walls aren\u2019t like regular house walls and you run the risk of doing some damage!<\/p>\n<p>For lightweight frames, use hook-and-loop tape or hooks mounted with removable adhesive strips. (Just in case, use frames with plastic inserts rather than glass.) Add a few small pieces of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Quakehold-88111-Museum-Putty-Neutral\/dp\/B0002VA9NA\">Quakehold (aka museum putty)<\/a> to the back of the frames to keep them from bouncing. You can also use the putty to secure items that might otherwise slide in transit.<\/p>\n<p>Or attach some cork pieces to the walls or the back of a door and use pushpins to hold the pictures in place.
